What we build

The first thing guests walk on, done right

A walkway is the first piece of your property people actually touch, and a cracked or uneven one is the first thing they notice. We build walks that guide the eye to your entrance, fit the style of your home, and stay flat and safe underfoot.

The craftsmanship is in the base and the edges. A properly compacted base, the right slope to shed water, and solid edge restraint are what keep a walk from shifting and heaving over the winters. We build front entrances, garden paths, and the steps that tie them together.

Safe underfoot

Level, drained, and safe in winter

A front walk gets used every single day and walked on in ice and snow, so how it drains and how level it stays actually matters for safety. We pitch the walk to shed water and melt instead of letting it pool and freeze into a hazard by the door.

We can also work in gentle steps and handrail-ready transitions where the grade calls for it, so the approach is easy and safe for everyone who uses it, year round.

Walkway questions we hear a lot

A few of the things homeowners ask before a walkway project.

What materials do you use for walkways?

Natural stone and concrete pavers, chosen to match your home and the look you want. We'll walk you through the options, colors, and patterns on the visit and recommend what fits the space and budget.

Will the walkway stay level over the winters?

Yes, when it's built on a proper base. We compact the base to the right depth, slope it to drain, and restrain the edges, which is what keeps a walk from heaving or shifting through freeze-thaw.

Can you add steps or lighting?

Absolutely. Steps, grade transitions, and low-voltage landscape lighting are often part of a walkway project and are best designed in from the start so everything ties together.

Can you match an existing patio or driveway?

We can. We'll match materials, color, and lines so the new walk looks like it was always part of the property rather than an add-on.

How do I get started?

Request a consultation and we'll set up an on-site visit. We look at the approach to your home, talk through what you want, and put together a design and written price. No pressure and no email required.
